Tables define the address system for blasts and blocks

Each table in the Tables step is an ordered hierarchical address, such as “Mine/Pit/Stage/Bench/Blast/Flitch/Dig”.

  • Long term projects may schedule to the Bench/Blast level.

  • For shorter term projects, sites can schedule to Flitch and Dig block levels.

Note

The more blocks are created in Rapid Reserver, the slower final schedule could be. That’s why it is recommended to only create down to the level required.

Table Type

A table is either a Pit or a Dump type. This determines whether the solids will be reserved or not.

Level Names

Level names describe what the level holds, such as the “Mine” level or the “Pit” level.

Note

Note that spaces in the levels' names are not allowed. Otherwise an error message will appear informing you that the name contains invalid characters.

Level Association

Levels may be associated as “Phase”, “Bench”, “Flitch”, “Blast” or “Dig”. Phase levels act like folders (mine, pit, stage, pushback, …) whereas the “Bench”, “Blast”, “Flitch”, and “Dig” levels refer to specific mining terms.

Each table must have exactly one "Blast" level and exactly one "Bench" level. All other levels (such as "Mine", "Pit", "Stage") are called "Phase levels".

Note

If in the Settings step Enable Dig Plans option is ticked, then one “Dig” or one “Flitch” level are required.

Default Value

Levels will be assigned a default value when they are first created.

Auto Unique

When specifying the Auto Unique option for the “Dig” level, three different options exist.

By Increment

The name of the Dig solid must be unique across the Bench/Flitch level.

The name of the Dig solid must be unique within its parent Blast. Digs with the same name can coexist in the same flitch as long as they belong to separate blasts.
