Alastri is pleased to announce the release of v23.1. This is a major release incorporating upgrades aimed at enhancing the overall user experience. These enhancements are primarily centered on the Network tab of Haul infinity, including an advanced viewport and improved navigation features for blocks, nodes, and segments.

If you cannot see version 23.1 in the Hub, please contact one of your company’s license administrators and ask them to change the organisation’s permissions via the licensing website.

Some very minor scripting changes may be required to update to 23.1, depending on the project setup. Please contact the support desk if you encounter any problems with scripts.

Haul Infinity improvements may cause some auto joins to become invalid or additional auto joins to be created when upgrading to 23.1. These improvements will result in better haulage optimisation.

Common Improvements

Internationalisation

All products, including the Hub, have undergone translation into Spanish. The language of the UI can be changed by clicking the flag icon in the upper right of the application. In addition to English and Russian, Spanish is now incorporated within the list of supported languages.

Haul Infinity

Network Upgrades

Viewport

The Haul Infinity viewport, which can be accessed through the Network tab, has undergone an upgrade that has aligned it with the viewports of other Micromine Alastri applications. This enhancement not only brings about a more seamless user experience but also brings performance improvements to the platform.

Viewport Navigation Panels

The Network panel has undergone an upgrade aimed at enhancing the user experience when selecting blocks, nodes or segments. Notably, the Blocks panel now features visibility icons that enable the individual item's visibility to be turned on or off. Additionally, double-clicking on an item in either the Blocks, Nodes, or Segments panel will cause the viewport to zoom in to that specific item.

Project Settings Panel

The Project Settings dialog has been enhanced to improve the user experience. Obsolete settings related to the old viewport have been removed, and the tabs displaying Custom Properties and General settings have been consolidated into a singular panel for simultaneous display.

General Improvements

Properties > MaxSpeed and FinalSpeed

MaxSpeed and FinalSpeed settings can now be applied per segment. With this change, the items no longer show on the Project Settings panel. They are now found on the Properties panel of a selected segment.

Clear Route History

It is now possible to clear route history on the Route Selections panel in the Network tab.

New Join Mode

A new setting Automatically Use Segment Names to Choose Joins has been added to the Settings tab. This gives users the option to use segment names when joins are automatically chosen.

PathFindingRL improvements

The way in which the PathFindingRL is calculated has now been improved to be more tolerant. This improvement has now made the PathFindingRL more accurate which will result in better haulage optimisation.

This improvement may cause some auto joins to become invalid or additional auto joins to be created.

Production Scheduler

Blast and Dig Labels

It is now possible to show individual labels for either blasts or digs in an APS viewport.

New Gantt Display Options for splitting Destinations/Sources lanes separately

In previous versions of the software it was possible to split the Gantt lanes by delay or level. Now it is possible to split the Destination or Source lanes independently.

Viewpoints include Labels

Any labels showing when saving a Viewpoint on a viewport will now be displayed when the viewpoint is activated.
