Every project must have at least one truck type, which is used to calculate fleet numbers, engine hours and fuel burn.

To add a truck type:

  • Go to Haul Infinity > Trucks tab.
    • Find or import a truck definition, ie. CAT785
    • Remove any spaces from the Truck Name.
  • Go to the Setup tab > Truck Types step.
    • Press the green plus icon to add a new truck.
    • Rename it to match the Haul Infinity name.
    • Availability Types convert calendar time to productive time and engine hours.
    • Cycle Time Factor Field reads a value from the block model, so cycle times can be factored faster or slower for different areas.
    • Adjust Cycle Time Factor by Time introduces a new row in the calendar, so cycle times can be factored faster or slower in different periods (ie. wet weather period).

Truck definitions must be present in Haul Infinity in order for the scheduler to reference them.
