Solid Volume vs. Reserves Volume

The following cases may result in a difference between the Solid Volume and Reserves Volume.

Clipped Block Models

If a block model is clipped by "centroid in / centroid out", then this introduces air gaps inside the pit solid.

To resolve this issue, use an inflated pit solid to clip the block model.

Depleted Block Models

If the block model volume field is factored by an air percentage, then this introduces air gaps inside the pit solid.

To resolve this issue, use the absolute block model cell volume (dx * dy * dz) in the volume field.
