The following are some examples on how to use the Designer tab Blasts Renaming tools.
Interactive Block Renamer
Using the icon of Interactive Block Renamer and its dropdown you can manually rename the whole project blast by blast.
In the Block Renamer field select “Simple Counter” or “Type Counter” option.

Bulk Block Renamer
Using the icon of Bulk Block Renamer you can rename all the blasts for a whole project.
You may select to bulk block rename with Selected Blasts, Current Bench or Visible Benches.
Column | Description and example |

Starting ID andEnding ID | Specify Starting ID and Ending ID for each Blast type. |
Bearing | Bearing column defines the direction in which blasts will be renamed. This can be seen in the example below, where a bearing of 120 degrees has been applied. Please note that the arrow shown is for illustration purposes only; no directional indicator will be displayed on the screen. |
Overwrite Existing Conforming Names | Flag to overwrite existing names. |
Increment | Specify the increment used when numbering blasts - i.e. Production blasts with an increment of 2 = 100, 102, 104, 106. The default increment value is 1. |
Padding Digits | Specify the number of digits to be used in the blast name - i.e. “3” for renaming to “100”, or “5“ for renaming to “00100“. |
Strip Renamer
Strip Renamer tool has been added to the Designer viewport tool bar, to allow users to name blasts according to direction and grid size.
