Color/Drape Image

Overview

Images may be set to a specific color, or draped to a triangulation by importing both the image and associated georeference file.

To drape an image:

  • Select a layer in the layer panel.

  • Drop down the colour selector.

  • Switch to the Drape Image tab.

  • Select ‘Open Image’ and import the image file.

  • Select ‘Load Points’ and import the georeference file.

  • Press OK to finish.

A downsampled copy of the original image is saved in the working folder as projectName.drapeImages. If this file is deleted, then all draped images are removed from the project.
