PS. Production Mode Features
In the Production Mode Features step you may select what mine production activities to include in the project.
Production Features
Activity | Planning Function |
Model drilling of blast holes? | Production drilling. |
Model charging of blast holes? | Explosives loading. |
Model drilling of presplit holes? | Presplit drilling for wall control. |
Model charging of presplit holes? | Explosives loading of Presplit holes (does not create mineable stock). Used mostly for Wall Controls activities. |
Model drilling of holes not related to blasting (grade control, dewatering)? | Grade control delay. Unlocks the Misc Drilling tab in the Feature Settings panel below, where you can set Hole Density Factors. |
Model blasting? | Blasting delays. |
Model a generic activity that occurs before drilling commencing? | Pattern cleanup or wall scaling delays. |
Model a generic activity that occurs before any mining commences? | Post blast delay. Levelling blast heave, prepping area for dig unit access. |
Import a schedule for spatial guidance? | Compare spatial production schedule conformance against plans from ATS or APS. |
Import or specify non-spatial guidance? | Compare production schedule targets or metrics from other plans. |
Import a product stream from another site for further processing in this model? | Adjust crusher feed to offset another site’s rail grades. Used mostly for the Second Site feed modelling. |
Model wall panels and related activities | Unlocks Wall Panels tab, where you may add Activities and Wall Dependencies. |
Feature Settings
The Feature Settings panel is for animation visualization only.
It consists of five feature settings tabs:
Tab | Parameters |
---|---|
Production Drilling |
|
Presplit Drilling | Drill holes display options:
|
Misc Drilling | Set Hole Density Factors (X) and (Y). |
Guidance | Set a tolerance for spatial or non spatial conformance guidance. |
Wall Panels |
Add up to 10 Wall Panels Activities, assign colors for visual display and dependencies. More details see here. |
