PS. Database Tab

The Database tab is the main area to view and analyse reserves and dumps levels solids and lines. The final Reserves used for scheduling are displayed here and can be validated.

The Database tab is the primary 3D working environment for the project, which allows the following:

  • view the entire solids inventory, organised by pits, stages, benches and flitches (similar for dumps and backfills),

  • show custom colour-coded block models,

  • display of layers and overlays for all imported project items,

  • detailed data presentation for any selected parcels and levels,

  • review reserves and dumps solids properties,

  • operations with records subsets.

Database tab overview and its parts

The Database tab consists of six main parts, which are described in details below:

(1) Records Panel

The Records panel is represented by a window on the left side of the Database tab. You can Auto Hide this panel or pin it to show in the tab to ease the work with its data.

This panel contains a tree structure listing all levels of Dumps and Reserves in a certain order like Reserve - Mine - Pit - Stage - Bench - Blast - Dig.

  • By pressing on a level it will display in the Viewport Display. You may also select the whole reserve/mine/pit/stage/bench to display or selected solids using <CTRL> and <Shift> hotkeys.

  • Select the subset you want to work with from the Record Subsets dropdown list. The information in the Data panel as well as in the Viewport Display will be automatically updated.
