RR Phase Details

et the table, block model, bench template, and default properties for each phase.

Enter phase details for each listed phase solid.

Populate the phase details for each phase in the phase list.

  • Hold Ctrl and Shift to multi-select phases.

  • Drag Available Fields into Grouped Fields to group phases by common properties.

  • The extents of the selected block Model is denoted by a green bounding box

Table

Is this a pit or a dump?

Increment Template

What are the bench heights?

Block Model

Which block model to reserve from?

Block Model Fill

Which material to fill block model gaps with?

Design Position

Elevation of exported polygons (top or bottom of bench).

Expand Distance

Minimum air gap between solids until they are considered as separate blasts.

Bench Tolerance

Threshold depth for eliminating skirts and brims from bench solids.

Bench Preconditioning

Contour Height (m)

Threshold depth for estimating bench contour percentages in Setup > Bench Preconditioning.

Phase Properties

If any properties were specified in Setup > Phase Properties, set the values here.

Levels

Specify the Mine_Pit_Stage level names for each phase.

Expand Distance

The expand distance field is used to group trash solids together when they are floating in space, such as batter trims around the bench solid.

This value should almost always be left at the default 50 metres.

Bench Tolerance

The bench tolerance field may be used to eliminate skirts and brims from bench solids. This field should be used reactively, never proactively, since it incurs additional processing cost in the bench solid creation.

An acceptable value for the bench tolerance (other than zero) is 0.01 metres. Any greater depth skirts should be addressed in Setup > Bench Preconditioning.

Contour Height

The contour height field is used to populate the “Estimated Contour” field in Setup > Bench Preconditioning.

This field should be set to the threshold height where it is considered too shallow to mine on the current bench, and should be pushed down to the next bench.
