Display of the scheduling elements in the Gantt can be changed according to the needs of your project.

The Gantt view is configured in the Configure Gantt Display Options window, which appears when the “Configure Gantt Settings” option is selected from the display view button dropdown.

To create a Gantt view:

  1. Select the “Configure Gantt Settings” option from the display view button dropdown.

  2. Press the blue plus icon to add a new view.

  3. Make the necessary settings in the Display Settings panel.

Other Settings

Split Source On Delay

Toggle to have Source Gantt bars split when there are delays in schedule

Source Delay Types

Ability to select which delay types are displayed

Split Destination On Delay

Toggle to have Destination Gantt bars split when there are delays in schedule.

Note: This uses the source agent delay, not the delay at destination.

Fill Delay Gaps

Toggle to fill delay gaps in Gantt. Delay gaps usually occur when an agent has overlapping delays and only one of the delay is displayed.

Show Source Delays

Toggle to display delays on Source Gantt.

Split Source on Level

Dropdown to select what level to display Source Gantt bars.

Split Destination on Level

Dropdown to select what level to display Destination Gantt bars.

Split Stockpiles on Chunk

Toggle to split Stockpiles Source by chunks.

Show Period Grid

Toggle to display vertical line at period start/end.

Cascade Settings

Blast Method

Choose when to cascade Gantt bars into multiple rows.

Blast Lanes

Choose max number of cascades rows to display.

Source Method

Choose when to cascade Gantt bars into multiple rows.

Source Lanes

Choose max number of cascades rows to display.

Destination Method

Choose when to cascade Gantt bars into multiple rows.

Destination Lanes

Choose max number of cascades rows to display.

Timeline Options

Title

Edit Timeline Title in top left of Gantt.

Show Steady States

Toggle to show Steady States at top of Gantt.

Show Dates

Toggle to show Date and Time at top of Gantt.

Show Periods

Toggle to show Period Names at top of Gantt.

Period Name

Choose what period label to display.

Sequence Bar Labels

Default Name

Choose what label to be displayed on Sequence bars.

Blocks List

Choose what format to display block names in Block list.

Gantt Bar Labels

Tooltip

Choose what label to be displayed as Tooltip when hovering over an object on Gantt.

Above

Choose what label to be displayed above Gantt bar activity.

Inside

Choose what label to be displayed inside Gantt bar activity.

Right

Choose what label to be displayed right of Gantt bar activity.

Below

Choose what label to be displayed below Gantt bar activity.

Gantt Bar Shading

Shading

Choose what shading to apply to Gantt bars.

Font Sizes

Label Above

Choose font size for label above Gantt bar activity.

Label Inside

Choose font size for label inside Gantt bar activity.

Label Right

Choose font size for label right of Gantt bar activity.

Label Below

Choose font size for label below Gantt bar activity.

Sequence Bars

Choose font size for Sequence bar label.

Graph Axes

Choose font size for Graph Axes.

Time Row

Choose font size for time and period rows.

Headers

Choose font size for Left side headers.

You can duplicate the added views, save them in the ".ganttDisplayOptions" file format, or import previously created views.

At the bottom of the Configure Gantt Display Options window there is Edit Global Settings button. Press it to open the Configure Display Options window with Labels, Shadings and Destination Charts tabs (same as selecting “Configure Global Display Options” from the display views button dropdown. In this window you can edit existing templates for Labels, Shadings and Destination Charts, or create new ones.
