In Rapid Reserver, you can export files, surfaces and solids, reserves, mappings, bench and report templates, as well as polygons and construction lines.

Exporting Scripts and Extension Data Sources

Once custom scripts are loaded in the Extension Source setup step they stay with a project and can be exported in ".sln" format.

  • Use the disk icon to export added extensions.

Same with files loaded in the Extension Data Sources setup step, once CSVs or Zip files are loaded, they can be exported for reviewing or editing.

Exporting Reserves Model and Reserves Summary

In the Block Model setup step,

  • You can export the entire Reserves Model to a CSV file. To do this, click the Export button on the top line and specify the path to the destination folder.

Tip

The new CSV file will contain all Block Models, with all the blocks and all the fields existing and added by the user.

  • You can also narrow your Block Model Data export by selecting which parcels and fields you wish to export from the Reserves Summary.

    • Selected parcels and fields of the Reserves Model can be exported to Excel or to Text/CSV formats.

Exporting Layers

You can export single and multiple surfaces from the Layers panel.

Select one layer you wish to export and in Save As window specify its name, saving path and format (“00t”, “.dtm”, “.dxf”, “.csv”, “.obj” and “.tridb”).

Select one folder or use <CTRL> and <SHIFT> keys to select multiple layers you wish to export.

When exporting multiple, the program allows you to place them into zip file (folder icon in the Export Location field).

Specify applicable format for Construction Line, Solid and any Text what you may have loaded as well. Available formats include “.arch_d”, “.str”, “.dxt”, “.obj”, “.shp”, “.dat”.

Exporting Phase Solids Geometry

To export the solid for a given phase, in the Phases step, click in the Solid dropdown and choose Export Geometry.

Exporting Properties, Templates, Construction Lines

Different export options are also available in various setup steps. Hover your mouse over the folder icon to display a tooltip.

Exporting Depleted Solids

Phase solids depleted in the Depletion Surfaces step can be exported in the Phases step using the Export Depleted Solids button.

Several surface export formats are available when exporting single phases, and a Zip file is used if multiple phases are selected using the default .00t format to export.

Exporting Setup steps templates

Right click on the step name from the Setup Task list on the left to save that step model in its own export format, for further transfer and use between projects.

Capturing Screenshot

Some Setup tasks and tabs have a button to capture a screenshot, which can also be used for exporting purposes.

  • Setup tab > Phase Exclusion Areas step

  • Setup tab > Bench Preconditioning step

  • Setup tab > Bench Depletion step

  • Designer tab > viewport

  • Report tab> Pivot tables

The image will be saved to the clipboard.

Copy to Excel/Paste from Excel buttons

Some setup tasks also include Copy to Excel and Paste from Excel buttons used to export and import tables data.

Usage

  • Setup tab > Block Model step > Reservable Model Generator window

  • Setup tab > Wall Controls step

Copy data from tables to Excel and paste Excel data to the table.

Copies all table rows and pastes them in the same order into Microsoft Excel document.
