Tip

In the Reserves tab in the Viewport Display panel locate Reserves Shading / Dumps Shading field and press the gear icon Image Added on the right: there is a preloaded list of automatic shadings for the level hierarchy and reserves fields. We can add to this list by configuring custom shading sets.

Instructions to colour the scheduling blocks in a useful and meaningful way provided below.

Shading by Block Model Field

  1. Select the gear icon

  1. Shading dropdown.

  1. This opens the configuration dialog.

  2. Press the blue plus icon to add a new shading.

  3. Enter the name of the shading in the Name field.

  4. Drop down the Shading Field: and select the shading criteria, such as "Mining_grades_fe".

  5. Enter the cutoff grades in the table below the histogram.

    1. Either type numbers directly in the Value field, or

    1. Type in the range of grades values (0, 12, 24, 36, 50, etc), or press Create by Equal Counts or Create by Equal Intervals button to generate a colour range based on count or intervals.

  1. Press OK to finish.

  1. Within the Data panel:

    1. Drop down the Parcel Subset selector.

    2. Select the parcels to be shaded (for example, Ore parcels subset).

➡️ Only blocks that contain the selected parcels will be shaded, all other blocks will be shown in grey.
