Battery Truck Haul Cycle Calculations
Full calculation of battery used, battery regenerated and net battery usage across haul.
Calculation of cycles per charge, including proportionally calculated charging time.
Battery usage is calculated using first principles and then translated into kW/h based on provided curves.
All battery data can be graphed and reported on a per segment basis.
Support for recharging via Trolley-Assist
Users can specify amount of trolley power available and enable trolley per segment, loaded and unloaded directions.
Can provide trolley availability, trolley to battery and trolley to motor efficiency losses.
While on trolley, power requirements are calculated for motor and remaining amount is fed into battery.
Cycle Time Analysis has been expanded to show more details about trolley power.
All trolley data is reported separately.
ATS / APS integration
All battery related cycle time information is exposed into APS / ATS as normal via report fields.
Battery capacity and other parameters are exposed to scripts as operating conditions, allowing scripts to adjust battery performance on a per-haul basis.
This has already been used by some companies to model battery degradation – scripts degrade battery capacity over time and update truck amounts.
