RR. Block Model Import

To import reserves block model, two options are available in the Block Model step:

Reserves Model Import from “.resmodel” file

  1. Press the Open button and in the dialog that opens specify the path to the reserves model file in the ".resmodel" format.

Setup tab > Block Model step > Open button > select .resmodel file

2. Press OPEN and review the fields mapping in the Reserves Summary panel (at the bottom). Edit, if necessary (press Edit button).

Reserves Model Import from CSV/Vulcan/Bintab/MineSight

  1. Press New (or Edit) button to open Reservable Model Generator window.

  2. Click the blue plus icon and select the appropriate import file type.

Setup tab > Block Model step > New (Edit) button > Reservable Model Generator window > Import options dropdown

3. Specify the path to the appropriate file (in this example ".csv") and click OK.

  • In the Import CSV file window, select the Header Line and Data Offset (and other parameters), if required.

In bm1.csv file is in red, reopen the folder and upload the source file again.

  • You can import a previously created and saved field mapping template. To do this, click on the folder icon in the toolbar and select:

    • Alastri Block Model Fields - “.abmf”;

    • OpenStructure file - “.openstructure”;

    • Alastri Block Model Mapping - “.abmm”;

    • Alastri Block Model mapping Set - “.abms”;

    • Open Mapping File - “.openmapping”.

Custom Variable Import

If you need to create and map variables, missing in the Available Variables list, you can import (paste) them from the previously configured scripts.

Examples of coded scripts could be copied from available formulas in the RR. Block Model Custom Variables section and pasted in the Code Editor window (edit and press Compile to check, if necessary).
