PS Other Export Options

In addition to the Exports described in the previous sections, the export options should also include Export Scenario, as well as Capture Screenshot and Copy/Paste to/from Excel buttons.

Export Scenario

You can export an entire scenario of your schedule. The result of this export will be a ".exportedProdScen" file that includes Calendar data and Gantt charts for the ran scenario modes.

To export a scenario:

  1. Select a scenario from the list.

  2. Click the Export Scenario button and in the Save as dialog specify the path to the file and its name. The exported scenario will be saved in the ".exportedProdScen" format.

Export Image

Some Setup tasks and tabs have a button to capture a screenshot, which can also be used for exporting.

  • Schedule > Gantt tab

  • Schedule > Destinations tab

  • Schedule > KPIs tab

In Print Configuration dialog, set the configuration parameters of the image to be saved: Start Period, End Period dates, and the Image Width.

The exported image will be saved in ".png" format.

 

 

  • Main Database tab

From the dropdown list, select the screenshot resolution.

The image will be saved to the clipboard.

 

Schedule > Reporting tab > Table tab

Copy the image and save it to the clipboard.

 

 

  • Setup > Initial Database step

  • Setup > Refined Database step

  • Setup > Prescheduled Database step

  • Setup > On Bench step

From the dropdown list, select the screenshot resolution.

The image will be saved to the clipboard.

Copy to Excel/Paste from Excel buttons

Some setup tasks also include Copy to Excel and Paste from Excel buttons used to export and import tables data.

Copy data from tables to Excel and paste Excel data to the table.

Copies all table rows and pastes them in the same order into Microsoft Excel document.

Note, that when pasting from Excel, all the existing items will be cleared/replaced.
