Navigation and Display

Grids are shown by default in new projects. They can be shown by hitting the TOP text on the 3D compass.

To toggle grids, press the grid icon  in the toolbar or keyboard shortcut (G).

Grid size, colour and labelling can be set in Tools > Project Settings > Grid.

The viewport background colours can be customised in Tools > Project Settings > General > Background.

The display properties of labels and entities can be customised in the Display tab below the viewport.

Any segment property can be displayed in the label.

Road and fleet animations can be toggled under the animations menu in the toolbar.

Sometimes you want to save particular view for consistent screenshots in your reports.

To save the current view, go to the View menu and click "Add View". The camera perspective will be saved for later viewing.

The screenshot tool saves the current view to clipboard for pasting into reports or presentations. Screenshots can be taken in 1x, 2x or 5x resolution so that you always have clear, crisp images to share.

Panels and tabs can be dragged out of Haul Infinity and onto a second screen for easier viewing.

To support multiple screens:

  1. Go to the Network tab
  2. Select and drag the Cycle Time Analysis tab onto a new screen.
  3. Select and drag the Charts tab onto a new screen.
  4. To dock the tabs, double click on the header bar.

Haul Infinity is available in a variety of colours and contrasts, depending on what suits your tastes.

Different themes are available under Tools > Skin. We recommend "Visual Studio 2013 Light" and "Metropolis Dark".

Running along the top of the Design tab are the tools for viewing and editing design data. Hover over each button to see the keyboard shortcut.
