The Reserves tab is the area to view and analyse reserve and dump solids and their contents. |
It is the primary 3D working environment for the project, which allows the following:
view the entire solids inventory, organised by pits, stages, benches and flitches (similar for dumps and backfills),
interrogate block model data for selected solids,
display layers
...
for all imported project items,
configuration of Record and Parcel Subsets,
configuration of custom labels and shadings,
detailed data
...
for any selected
...
levels and
...
activities,
review reserves and dumps solids properties

Tip |
---|
The Records panel is represented by a window on the left side of the Reserves tab. This panel contains a tree structure listing all levels of records in a certain order, for example Reserve - Mine - Pit - Stage - Bench - Flitch. |
Layout
You can expand this panel to make it easier to work with its data
...
, move it to any part of the screen, or unpin it (Auto Hide).
Level Tree Structure
A tree structure (or hierarchy) of levels/records is a list of all levels, arranged by parent and child records. In applications from Alastri, such a structure displays a hierarchy of mine parts, as following: Reserves - Mine - Pit - Phase - Bench - Blast - Flitch - Solid, and Dumps - Dump - Lift - Solid.
It is possible to quickly expand/collapse level structure:
Click the button directly above the scroll bar to see available expand/collapse options.
You can expand or collapse all the levels.
Expand selection or all records to a certain level, such as Reserves/Dumps - Mine/Dump - Pit/Lift - Stage - Bench.
By checking a level, it will display in the Viewport Display.
You may also select the whole reserve/mine/pit/stage/bench to display or selected solids using <CTRL> and <Shift> hotkeys.
Data for the selected level will be automatically showed in the Data panel.
Record Subset
Select the subset you want to work with from the Record Subsets dropdown list. The information in the Data panel as well as in the Viewport Display will be automatically updated.
Use the green arrows to navigate to the Previous or Next Subset.
Click on the gear icon ⚙️ to the right of the Record Subsets dropdown to open the Configure Record Subsets dialog, where you can
...
create record subsets (on the left)
...
. Record Subsets may include groups of blocks based on:
fleet: Autonomous or Crewed;
certain mining RL: Below or Above water level, Lower or Higher benches;
source blocks for the specific destination;
source blocks for the specific phases, or of a certain volume;
blocks to be mined/drilled within specific periods, etc.
To add phases/benches/blocks in the subset:
flag them in the Configure Record Subset list, or
in the Viewport, make a selection > Right-click > Append Selection to Subset > select a Subset.
Set the output parameters of the subset parcel (Must Contain Parcel Subset dropdown)
...
, if required.
Set extension (scripted) record filters (Extension Record Filter dropdown).
...
Record subsets can be referenced in the Destination Logic, Steps Logic, Constraints, and Product Specifications steps of the project. This makes it easy to update a definition (such as "Contractor Pits") in many places at once.
