APS Dependency Troubleshooting

This page provides guidance on troubleshooting dependencies.

Activities sequences can be used to allow delays for other support activities.

Using the above setup:

24 hr delay between Drilling completion and Charging starting to allow for drill hole sampling
96 hr delay between Drilling completion and Mining starting to allow for grade control blocking

Showing Dependencies from the Animation tab, one can see that both Charging and Mining are waiting on their associated Activity Sequence delay.

Expand dependencies act on solids in adjacent flitches or benches. Solids in the lower elevation are dependent on the solids in the higher elevation.

Using the above setup, mining of a lower flitch or bench is not possible unless all other solids within 10m have also been mined.

Clicking on a block in the Animation tab, will automatically show Expand distance dependencies with pink arrows.

Showing Dependencies, one can see that Mining of the bottom flitch is waiting on Mining for the adjacent solids.

Limits the number of benches that can be active in a given area.

Using the above setup, Mining has been restricted to a single bench but the Gantt has a digger scheduled to mine a second bench.

Showing Dependencies, one can see that the lower bench is dependent on ALL solids on the bench above due to Max Active Benches.
