APS Mutex Record Subsets

Mutex Record Subsets allow categories (such as Supply Chain Point) to be created and managed in a single place, so that any changes here propagate to all other references in the Setup.

Note that ‘Supply Chain’ definitions may change from plan to plan, so the user should always double check the categories are correct with each new planning cycle.

Example Mutex Record Subset.

To add a Record Subset:

  1. Press the blue plus icon to add a new subset.

  2. Select the Name field and rename to ‘Supply Chain’.

  3. In the Record list, assign a supply chain point to each item.

Multi-select and assign:

  1. Shift+Select a range of records.

  2. In the property window at the base of the screen, assign a single value to all selected records.

Assign properties to all selected records via the property window.
