TS. Destination Logic, Steps Logic and Constraints


The Destination Logic, Steps Logic and Constraints steps are to review the material transport rules. Detailed description of each of these steps is given in the sections below.


If you need to dump material on a stockpile and reclaim the same period, then you will need the rules to cover the scenarios:

  1. where the material is going from Pit to Stockpile and to Crusher in the same period, and

  2. where material is going to the Stockpile but not the Crusher. An example of how this would look is shown below. 

 
Destination Logic: The first covers the two scenarios above, and the second is for any other material going from Stockpile to Crusher.

Steps Logic:  
The first covers the first scenario above (Pit to Stockpile to Crusher in the same period).
The second covers the second scenario where the material cannot be fed to the Crusher in the same period for whatever reason, eg. Crusher is full or it doesn't meet the product specs. The third rule is for all other material going from Stockpile to Crusher.
