APS Flow Chart
The flow chart traces out all paths from the pit to product. This may include post-crusher conveying, processing, stacking, reclaim, and rail if required.

Workflow
Shapes
Drag and drop items from the Shapes menu into the flow chart area.
Option | Usage |
---|---|
Reserves, Stockpiles, Dumps, Crushers | Points in the network where material can flow to. |
Transformations | Processing points (product splits, mass yield, upgrade factors). |
Products | Exit point from the network (sale point). |
Ratios | Proportional routing based on a ratio. |
Mutex Parcels | Conditional routing based on parcel type. |
Calendar Switches | Conditional routing based on calendar switch. |
Arrows
There are two types of arrows on the flow chart.
Arrow Type | Arrow Colour | Comment |
---|---|---|
Destination Rule | Grey | Automatically added to the flow chart, based on the Destination Rules. |
Flow Rule | Black | Manually drawn on the flow chart by the user. |
Flow Chart
Arrange the shapes and arrows to represent how material moves throughout the supply chain.
Plant Components
Plant components can be added to Flow Rules by selecting the appropriate arrow, right-clicking and ‘Select Applicable Plant Components’. This will allow the assigned plant component to be used within Flow Optimisation to model bottlenecks or targets.
