TS. Haulage Configurations
In the step Haulage Configurations step user sets the default haulage configurations for the model.
Parameter | Description |
---|---|
Export Key Column from Chrono Reports | Enable this option if you want to export Key column from Chrono reports. |
Export Units Column from Chrono Reports | Enable this option if you want to export Units column from Chrono reports. |
Default Truck Type | Select one of the Truck types (from added in the Truck Types setup step) to be used as default in the project. For schedules using Optimise Products mode (enabled in Configuration Options setup step), any overflow will be calculated using the Default Truck Type, set in this field. |
Default Loader Type | Select one of the Loader type (from added in the Loaders Types setup step) to be used as default in the project. For schedules using Optimise Products mode (enabled in Configuration Options setup step), any overflow will be calculated using the Default Loader Type, set in this field. An Overflow Loader must load an Overflow Truck. Even if there are truck hours available, if the schedule doesn't have any real loaders, then it cannot load them. |
Haulage Materials | Select a set of haulage materials from the preconfigured mutex parcels groups representing truck payloads in Haul Infinity.
|
Haulage Quantity Type | Haulage Quantity Type is always set to wet tonnes, so that no conversion is required to match the bucket and tray payload units in Haul Infinity > Setup > Parameters. |
Fill Sequencing Type | Set Fill Sequencing Type defaults to "Travel Time", since "Distance" may choose a less fuel-efficient elevation profile. |
Process Optimised Stockpiles Last | Processing the rehandle transactions last will concentrate truck overflow in the rehandle fleets, instead of spreading it across multiple production fleets. For example, if a digger is shared between the pit and the ROM, "Process Optimised Stockpiles Last" flag will cause it to overflow in the rehandle fleet instead of the production fleet. |
Use Serial Blasting Delays | Set up blasting so it can only run on one blast at a time. This approximates a bomb crew that cannot be on more than one shot at once. |
Drilling Hatch Pattern | Choose from the dropdown the hatching style which represents drilling areas in the Animation tab. |
Error Messages
Haulage Configurations errors may be thrown if there are mismatches between the Tactical Scheduler data and the Haul Infinity data.
Most common error messages and ways to fix them are described below.
Truck Type not found | |
| |
Reason | Remedy |
---|---|
Truck types are not matching in ATS > Truck Types and Haul Infinity > Trucks. Extra symbol or space can also cause this error. | Check for mismatches between: ATS > Setup > Truck Types and Haul Infinity > Trucks. |
Loader Type not found | |
| |
Reason | Remedy |
---|---|
Loader types are not matching in ATS > Loader Types and Haul Infinity > Loaders. Extra symbol or space can also cause this error. | Check for mismatches between: ATS > Setup > Loader Types and Haul Infinity > Cycle Time > Loaders. |
Material Type not found | |
| |
Reason | Remedy |
---|---|
Some users have tens or hundreds of parcel types that they wish to schedule, but only need an "ore" and "waste" truck payloads in Haul Infinity. In order to save on data entry, the Mutex Parcel Subsets can be used to map all parcels into a simpler category set, which is then passed to Haul Infinity by way of the Haulage Materials selector. | Check for mismatches between: ATS > Reserves tab > Data panel > gear icon > Mutex Parcel Subsets > Haulage parcels and Haul Infinity > Setup > Materials. Select one of the Mutex Parcels Groups as Haulage Materials type. |
Terminal not found | |

Crushers/Stockpiles/Waste Dumps are not matching in ATS > Crushers/Stockpiles/Waste Dumps and Haul Infinity > Nodes. Extra symbol or space can also cause this error. | Check for mismatches between: ATS > Setup > Crushers/Stockpiles/Waste Dumps and Haul Infinity > Network > Nodes. |
Records matched to unconnected blocks or Records were not matched to blocks | |
| |
Reason | Remedy |
---|---|
Reserves or Dumps blocks have been updated, but not connected to the haulage network. | Check for unconnected blocks in Haul Infinity > Network > Blocks.
2. After scheduling blocks have been imported, go to the Network tab > Blocks panel in the bottom left corner and check if they are all connected to the network. A red exclamation mark will show beside isolated blocks. 3. When seeing Isolated blocks, you need to make sure that for these blocks there is a ramp that can be used to connect them to the main haul network (you may need to review your network and make sure there is a road at the height of the bench with these blocks, otherwise, draw it using top tollbar tools). 4. If using Assign Joins Based on Segment Names function, rerun this Extension: More details about the Assign Joins Based on Segment Names function with examples and “How to” video see here. If you are not using the Assign Joins Based on Segment Names function and want to add Auto and/or Manual Joins see HI. Block Exercises > Block Joins section. |
